Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a perfect way to access all the restorative and healing benefits of yoga without needing to get down on to a mat placed on the floor. In this class, all the yoga poses are adapted to a seated position which ensures the same benefits as in any other class.

As with all classes, there are lots of different options and you can do the entire practice seated or use the chair for stability and incorporate some standing poses.

The class moves at a slow pace.

You can use your membership, class pass or make a small donation to attend Chair Yoga.

Who’s this class for?

This class is for people of any age or ability who want to enjoy the benefits of a yoga class based in and around a chair. You can do the class with, or without a health condition.

How accessible is this class?

You can do chair yoga with a wide range of health and mobility conditions. You do not need to be able to walk into the studio and can do the class in a wheelchair.

Our studio is fully accessible with step-free access from the street via a ramp and we also have accessible facilities.

What format is this class offered in?

We currently offer Chair Yoga in person only.

How long is the class?

Chair Yoga classes are 60 minutes long.
